What’s in your pocket?

An Every Day Carry (EDC) item is something you take with you when you leave the house every day.  Usually it’s something small, but essential – items like your mobile phone, keys, wallet, notebook, or pen.  For some, this list would include a knife, flashlight, or bottle opener.  Put them all together and you have a survival kit.

When preparing your kit, take a moment to think about what you need and what’s useful to have with you.  An every day carry item helps you deal with the issues that life throws your way.

Think about work, the people on your team, and things that would make your life just a little bit easier.
